Create at least 1 shot using constraints.
Create at least 1 shot in which the character interacts with or is using a prop.
Industry
Attend at least one Siggraph Bring Your Animation Event.
Get in touch with my contacts from the industry in order to receive feedback when the time is right.
Personal
Learn How to make Korean Kimchi.
Attend at least one Life drawing session.
Design and build one plasticine character.
Educational
I've adjusted my goals, shifting my focus from animating using the IK/FK switch to prioritizing the refinement of my body mechanics skills.
I believe that body mechanics are the foundation on which character animation is built.
Successfully, I accomplished all the objectives I initially set. The key achievement was the thorough analysis and breakdown of reference footage before diving into the animation process.
Spending time finding high-quality reference footage significantly enhanced the efficiency and quality of my work. I found that animating became more streamlined, allowing me to concentrate solely on the animation process without constant uncertainties about body movements at each stage.
I've completed the other two objectives in the volleyball shot, I had the character interacting with the ball and I used locators and parent constraints in order to be able to hold contact with the ball then release it.
Industry
I successfully achieved one of my objectives, which involved reaching out to the industry for feedback.
However, the second objective remains incomplete as there have been no SIGGRAPH Bring Your Animation events scheduled thus far. I will be attending whenever these events become available in the future.
Personal
I have achieved all the personal objectives I set.
Life drawing session.
Clay characters.
My first batch of Kimchi
